He graduated with highest honors in the Second-Level Academic Diplomas in Pre-Polyphony (Turin) and in Choral Conducting and Choral Composition (Ferrara). He holds a PhD in Physics and a degree in Educational Sciences, in addition to several Master’s degrees in Didactics and Pedagogy.

He conducts the Schola Gregoriana Ecce and the Gruppo Vocale Teleion, with which he explores repertoire ranging from the Middle Ages to contemporary music, combining timbral research, historically informed performance practice, and creative experimentation.

He teaches at the Conservatory N. Rota (Monopoli) and at the Pontificio Istituto di Musica Sacra, and has previously taught at the Conservatory Vecchi-Tonelli (Modena). He serves as Director of the AERCO Artistic Commission, is a member of editorial boards, and is the author of essays, manuals, articles, studies on Gregorian chant, and award-winning compositions recognized in national and international competitions. He is actively involved in the training of conductors and school choirs, including children’s, youth, and mixed ensembles.
